Zach Mason
Zach Mason is the Head of Basketball Strategy at Get Recruited Hoops and former Chief Operations Officer at The Basketball Embassy, an international nonprofit focused on global basketball development.
He founded TexasTop100.com, formerly one of the most influential regional scouting platforms in the state, and has evaluated hundreds of NCAA prospects.
A former Division I graduate assistant and recipient of the Most Outstanding Graduate Student Award in Sport Management, Mason combines an analytical eye for talent with a deep understanding of what coaches need to build winning programs.
My Mission
My mission is to make international recruiting simpler, smarter, and more personal for college programs, bridging the gap between coaches and overseas prospects through hands-on scouting and clear, film-backed insight.
My Scouting Process

Eyes on the Player
I’m on the ground across European basketball, at FIBA competitions, showcases, and domestic leagues. Where I’ve seen the player live, that goes in. Where I haven’t, I pull the film and the numbers and get you a read either way.
The Report
Within 48 hours you get a written report: what I saw, what the numbers say, how he projects to your level, and whether he’s worth your time. Direct, specific, and yours alone.
